Happy New Year and Happy New You
Hello my fellow stargazers!! |
“The stars dot out the plans of God”
~ James Lendall Basford (1845-1915)
This quote is in my book and is one of my favorites! We are given so many inherent gifts and talents. Can you imagine being a person who can play the piano by ear, never having any training or teachings? Have you asked how does that happen?
What about a naturally gifted singer, like Barbara Streisand or Elvis Presley? Where does the gift truly come from? Speaking of singers, there is a beautiful song by Elton John and LeAnne Rimes called “Written in the Stars.” Something to ponder, those stars!! |

Sister Sage’s Astrological Report for January, 2018
Saturn enters Capricorn December 19th, 2017 to December 17th, 2020.
Last time it was there was November, 1988 to February, 1991. If you are old enough, ask yourself what was happening during this time frame? What areas of your life do you feel were being influenced, changed or restructured? This is a key insight into what is happening now. This can take shape as something familiar or a pattern; but on a different scale and level. The picture and quote says it all.
It takes Saturn 29 years give or take retrograde time to make a complete and full revolution back to a sign/house area of your life. Below I will give what Saturn is doing by the house in your chart. Keep in mind when you were born the same planets still exist in a particular area of your housing system of your Natal chart. Match that with the influences of current movement of the planets and combine them. It is like super imposing current planet locations onto your birth chart.
Before sharing by birth month let’s get a little insight as to how Saturn works and influences us individually and the world as a whole. This is why I encourage a reading from your Astrologer like me Sister Sage! |

What is Saturn?
Saturn is the teacher of all teachers. He is karmic in nature. Father time, disciplined, structured and labor intensive. Major change and restructure.
From the outset, it may seem intimidating this Saturn, but there is a saying that the fruits of our labor are before us. Saturn wants us to get it right. It is much like going to school to become a Doctor. It is very labor intensive, takes time and learning, but pays off once you complete your work and internship.
Saturn is filled with wisdom. It is like sitting down with a great grandfather and listening to how things used to be done and how you can apply that now. Who better to listen to then someone who has done the “work”. You notice I put the word work in quotes.
Saturn deals with governments across the globe, patriarch type societies (locations), paradigms, regimes, organized religions (organizations of all types) and infrastructure, just to name a few. You will hear a lot of this as the next 2.5 years or so unfolds on the news. |
